When the Internet went dark, India faced a serious challenge
Pkov Games’ first game, The Last Starfighter, has been cancelled.
The game’s cancellation was announced on Wednesday.
The publisher said that “due to unforeseen circumstances, The Lost City of Z, the next game in PkampGames’ Starfighter series, will not be made available in India.”
Pkamp’s statement came after a tweet from its Twitter account that read, “This is the last time to play Pkamps’ Starfighters in India,” followed by the hashtag #notagain.
The tweet followed a tweet by Pkow Studios, a subsidiary of Pkavision, a media company owned by Pkiploq.
Pkov’s decision to cancel the game came a week after a report in the Indian media that revealed that the studio had hired a British actor to play the lead in the game, and was considering hiring a British director as well.
Pkiplooq, the developer of The Last Starsfighter, declined to comment on Pkopv’s decision.
Pokamp did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the cancellation of the game.
