How to Win Dominos article How To WIN Dominos Domino chain, which has about 2,300 stores in 28 states and the District of Columbia, is the nation’s largest restaurant chain and has been under scrutiny since its CEO and co-founder, Jimmy Iovine, pleaded guilty in November to federal charges of wire fraud.
While the company has been praised for bringing in new customers, critics have argued it is not always doing the right thing, such as hiring workers with college degrees to work on the kitchen, pay their employees adequately and, as the New York Times reported last month, “lack a corporate culture.”
As a result, some critics have accused Iovines employees of retaliating against employees who have been vocal about organizing, complaining about working conditions and advocating for higher wages.
In the wake of Iovina’s guilty plea, a federal grand jury indicted more than 200 of Ive’s executives and cofounders.
The charges stem from allegations that they used their positions as cochairmen of the company to help secure more than $2 billion in federal and state incentives for the chain to expand into new markets.
But while Iovins legal team and its legal team have been criticized for being slow to take action on some of the more egregious violations, they have also been praised by many consumers and the media for the efforts it has made to address the issues raised by the allegations.
